SCRIP
SHOW THE LOVE this February by buying SCRIP cards. The profit from your purchases could win you a $10 gift card this month and it helps Mt. Hope. Buy a SCRIP card for your Valentine Sweetheart; Won’t wither, less fattening, and can be used by all!
When you purchase a SCRIP card and use it to make your purchases, a percentage of the sale is returned to Mount Hope. No strings. Free money. Pretty cool. All you have to do is plan ahead.
We always keep Roundy"s and Sentry cards in stock along with various sores and restaurants. Also, read on to learn how you can create an order from your home computer at your convenience. If you have questions contact Keith or Sandy Paukner at 262-782-2588.

SHOPWITHSCRIP.COM
Once you sign up, you will be directed to the Presto Pay site. This allows you to link your order to your checkbook allowing you to pre-pay for your order. The charge for this service is $.15 per order. No more arriving at church without your checkbook or cash in your wallet.
You create an order on your computer. The SCRIP coordinator then pulls up all orders at a certain time each week and submits all the orders at the same time. The cards are sent to the church where the coordinator picks them up and sorts them for each family. You will still have to pick them up on Sunday or make arrangements if you need them sooner. At Mt. Hope, the orders are compiled on Sunday night so all orders submitted and paid for will be ordered at that time. If you chose not to use Presto Pay, you must make sure the coordinator has your money before your order can be included.
SHOPWITHSCRIP also allows some cards to be reloaded right from your computer. This is possible with SOME vendors if the card was originally purchased from our SCRIP program. The list of vendors who allow reloads is growing. The SHOPWITHSCRIP website will help you determine what vendors make this available.
Also, some vendors allow you to print SHOPNOW e-cards. This too is done on your home computer and the SHOPWITHSCRIP again helps you determine which vendors allow this.
As always, if you prefer not to order on your home computer, we will be at church on Sunday mornings. We always have an inventory of the most popular gift cards and can also take orders on cards that you need.

| Savings for Soldiers - Have you been saving your manufacturer's coupons for our military. Put them in the box on the ledge in the Fireside Room. Coupons are sent to a base in Okinawa. The last shipment had a face value of nearly $8,000. |
Give for The Way You Live
- Give Electronically! Just as you rely upon receiving income on a regular basis, Mount Hope relies on your regular contributions. Mount Hope appreciates the efforts of congregation members to make consistent donations throughout the year—especially during popular summer travel periods. To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up regular contributions. Simply fill out the Enrollment and Authorization Form (pdf) and mail it to the church office.
Direct Debit Giving automatically transfers funds from your checking or savings account to the church’s bank account.
- Credit & Debit Card Giving lets you make offerings automatically on a predetermined schedule using a credit or debit card.
- Download the Enrollment and Authorization Form (pdf) and complete sections 1 through 5 for Lutheran Congregation Donations.
- If you already have automatic giving through “Simply Giving”, you can change your monthly amount by using the same form.
- Download the Enrollment & Authorization Form (pdf) and check the box marked change in authorized amount.

God has given us a wonderful opportunity to give back to Him through our tithes and offerings. His Word includes promise after promise of the blessings He will pour down on us as we are fathful with our time, talents and finances.
At Mount Hope, we encourage anyone who considers Mount Hope their church home to follow the biblical practice of proportionate giving (tithing), or giving 10% of your income back to God.
Stewardship is defined as "using God-given abilities to manage God-owned properties to attain God-ordained results."
The Lord owns all of our possessions - as stewards, we simply manage and administer things on His behalf. He entrusts possessions to us and then holds us accountable for their use. The recognition that God owns it all is crucial in allowing Jesus Christ to become the Lord of our money and possessions.
